I remember a talk given by a wonderful friend of mine, who died some time ago. His name was Bruce Smart, Cathy and I were recording at S.P.U.C. meeting where Bruce was speaking the right to life. “ You people don’t know and don’t care about ordinary people whose lives are so badly affected by this hardship. What would you do if you were told your child might have a disability. I will never forget his answer, he said ” I would turn my heart and mind to God and ask for the grace to love and care for that child”.
