Cyril says " Grace is God making sure we get what we don't deserve,
Mercy is God making sure we don't get what we do deserve ".
This teaching is so beautiful and life-giving it deserves to be listened to time after time after time. To be freed for the poison of judgement is a wonderful gift. Judgement stagnates all our relationships and suffocates Jesus vision of Unity within diversity in the human family.
" Father may they be so completely one, that the world will believe it was you who sent me "
In 2021 we will continue to plant the seeds of unity and reconciliation, but we know that only the Spirit of God active and at work, will make it a lived reality.
