This was a phrase that propelled the teaching of Jesus " The Way " from the back streets of Jerusalem to the furthest parts of the known world. The message of peace and justice for all was lived experience . The call to build communities that care for each other and share with each other was a daily lived experience.
Reading the signs of the times
As we look at how we can build a safe and healthy future together after the Covid regulations are lifted it's good to be reminded that we, the Christian community, believe that the economy is meant to be the servant of the Gods children.
It is a fact that we only borrow the planet from of children and grandchildren, so let's hand on to them a safe and healthy one.
